The Best Glossier Makeup – Where To Start If You’re New To The Brand

Ultralip swatches

One of my favourite ever lipstick formulas.  A plush, cushion-y, glossy formula that does actually hydrate your lips and leaves them feeling better than before.  Starting at light-medium pigment, the Ultralip can be worn as a sheer wash of colour or layered up for more intensity.  The formula builds really well – never getting sticky, goopy or too slippy.  Just the perfect Goldilocks balminess that grips the lips enough to not get all over your face.  The shade range is also exceptional – I bought every single one.

Cloud Paint Swatches

This is a watercolour-like liquid blush formula and one I’d recommend to literally everyone.  It’s a medium-highly pigmented, buildable lightweight cream-gel that blends out easily and seamlessly without going patchy or streaky, even when applied with just fingers.  The formula also layers well on top of just skincare, dewy makeup bases and powdered down full coverage foundations.  The large shade range was inspired by all the shades you see in a sunset – there’s definitely a shade (or 5) for everyone.  Again, I bought and love them all.

boy brow clear vs brown

This one is hyped for a reason.  If you’re looking for naturally fluffed up brows with light-medium hold and pigment – this is your guy!  I’ve been through SO many tubes of the brown Boy Brow, it’s still my favourite tinted brow gel even after all these years!  Read my full review of Boy Brow here.

Brow Flick Swatches

Celebrity makeup artist Katie-Jane Hughes’ brow pen of choice, so you can trust that it’s a good one – KJH does not steer us wrong!  The combination of a precise nib and a non-bleeding, non-smudging formula allows you to create believable hair-like strokes and full, feathered brows in no time.  Brow Flick + Boy Brow are a dream team.

Lash Slick

A buildable mascara that gives separated, long and fluttery lashes that lasts all day without flaking or smudging thanks to the fibre formula – great if you have oily, hooded or deep-set eyes (or all 3 like me!).  Great for natural makeup days, but can also be layered (with time and patience) without going clumpy for more volume.  A good choice if you’re a makeup minimalist and like to have only one mascara that is versatile enough for all occasions.  One of my favourite mascaras of all time.

Stretch Concealer Swatches

This light coverage concealer is great for people who like a creamy, moisturising formula and prefer a ‘no-makeup makeup’ look.  I love this for the under eye area when I’m wearing minimal makeup.  It is possible to layer the product to about a medium coverage – I’d recommend setting it with some powder to minimise any creasing or movement.

I also really recommend their GlossiWEAR – particularly their original ^Glossier Sweatshirt and their hoodie.  The hoodie sometimes comes in limited edition colours, so keep an eye out!  I have a lovely sage green one.

I’d also try to pick up a sample of the ^You perfume if you can while going through the checkout.  I really love it – it’s fresh, clean, musky and warm all at the same time and smells slightly different on everyone.
