Formulated to repair very dry and chapped lips, the Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm is one of the best moisturising and softening lip balm products on the market. The texture of this is thick and waxy, so you only need to apply a small amount for your lips to feel protected and nourished. In cooler temperatures, you may feel tiny grains in the formula – these dissolve with the heat of your lips and fingers as you rub it in.
the look
The unique characteristic of this lip balm that separates it from every other that I’ve tried is that it is matte – making it undetectable on the lips.
The lack of shine and slip makes the Rêve de Miel lip balm perfect for nourishing and prepping the lips before applying lipstick as it won’t interfere with the finish.

the application
Unlike other lip balms, this lasts a really long time on the lips before you feel the need to reapply. When I wake up in the morning, I can actually still feel this on my lips from when I applied it right before I go to sleep.
I’d say this was more like a lip mask than just a lip balm – using this only at night as a treatment would probably be enough for you if you don’t suffer with really dry lips.
When applying, I gently swirl my finger on top of the product for a few seconds to warm the product up before applying. This helps warm up any tiny grains and allow the product to glide on smoother.

This looks amazing and the packaging makes it look like a ridiculously expensive product! So beautiful! And the fact that it lasts so long makes me want to try it, I use Blistex which also works really well! Thank you for sharing this and I will have to see if I can get my hands on it x

It really is lovely! It hit the beauty blogging scene about 5 years ago and there was loads of hype about it because it's so good! It's especially good for the colder weather to keep your lips in good condition! x

It's the best lip balm I've ever tried! After I found this I've not bought another lip balm since! I have the driest lips even in summer, and this is the only thing that works for me! x

I had a major Lip crisis at the beginning of 2016. I had dermatitis,allergies that made me follow prescription creams for so long. My doctor told to use Vaseline on my lips only. I am still not brave to use any Lip balm yet, as my last one causes me huge reaction. I have used Nuxe cleanser and I just restock them and trust them.
