Hello lovely people! Thank you for stopping by – I hope you’re having a wonderful time with me here on my lil’ slice of the internet! You’re probably here on this About Page ’cause you want to know a wee bit more about me, why I created my blog and what you’ll find here – so here it is! Hopefully you’ll find the answers you’re looking for, but if not please feel free to contact me!
Hi! I'm Stephanie, a Scottish blogger based in Glasgow. I moved here (from a tiny Scottish island called the Isle of Bute) to study Speech and Language Therapy, fell in love with the city and didn't want to leave!
I believe in honesty, loyalty and trust (I'm a Hufflepuff), so you can be safe in the knowledge that if I'm sharing something with you, it's because I like it and I think you'll like it too.
I initially created this blog as a way of sharing the beauty products I was loving with my friends, as many of them would come to me for recommendations before purchasing anything. I don't want to encourage you to just buy something I've mentioned, I want to help you make an informed decision about whether you want to spend your money on that product.
Over the years, I've gained a few thousand more friends via the interwebs (hi, that's you now) to share my thoughts on all things beauty, fashion and lifestyle with. Welcome to the family!
First things first - I ain't a fashionista, but I do like playing with clothes and accessories. I'm not quite sure how I'd describe my style, but I like to wear clothes that make me feel 'put-together' and would rather err on the side of classic rather than super trendy. I'm still in the phase of trying to figure out my own personal style, so thought I would share my journey with you here! (P.S. If you are good with fashion-y things, please do help a gal out by sharing your photos/advice with me!)
I love reading about how other people live their lives and what works for them - so thought I would share some more personal life things here too. I'm really in to living a more considered and intentional lifestyle at the moment, so I'll hopefully be able to share more of that with you soon. I've struggled with chronic illnesses for over 3 years now, so trying to live as healthily as possible is a huge part of my life.
For now, you can find posts such as 'How To Be A Morning Person' and 'Sunday Habits for a Stress Free Week' - keep an eye out for what's to come!
