Secret Scent Box

As a lover of beautiful fragrances, trying new scents is one of my favourite things.  Unfortunately for my bank balance, my nose tends to have a rather expensive taste; which can become very expensive, very quickly.

I’m a sucker for splashing out on a new bottle of perfume when I’m out shopping and in the spendy spirit.  Spritzing all the perfumes in sight, clutching at tester cards, attempting to take in all the information about the notes in the perfume that the sales assistant is so enthusiastically sharing.  It’s all very exciting.  It all smells lovely.  How can you possibly leave without at least one new perfume when they all smell so good? I’m gonna buy one! Spontaneity is good, right?!

Queen of £90 unnecessary purchases right here.

Recognising the struggles of finding a new perfume, Secret Scent Box* have created a monthly subscription box with 3 designer fragrances for you to try in the comfort of your own home. No pushy sales assistants in department store perfume halls. Glorious.

Each Secret Scent Box contains 3 x 3ml bottles. Each bottle holds 35-40 sprays which give a total of around 100-120 sprays. So across the 3 bottles, if you use 4 sprays per day you have enough perfume to last 30 days !

The size of these spray bottles are perfect: large enough to allow you to make a fully-formed decision about whether you want to buy the full size, and small enough to easily pop in your handbag or pocket for smelling good on the go!

Each month, you will receive 3 new fragrances in the post which have been carefully selected by the team at Secret Scent Box.   Like most other subscription boxes, the exact products inside Secret Scent Box are secret until you open the package.  So it’s basically like Christmas every month!

As well as 3 fragrances, you receive corresponding information cards for each fragrance.  These cards detail the different layers of notes (top, middle and base) in the perfume.

The fragrances I received in the September box are:
1.  YSL ‘Mon Paris’
2. Versace ‘Vanitas’
3. Burberry ‘Touch’ (for women)

Secret Scent Box also have a ‘For Him’ option which has more masculine fragrances.

The Secret Scent Box is priced at £15, which is a lot better than paying £80 for a perfume bought on a whim that you realise you don’t like very much when you’re back at home!

This would also make a great present for a birthday or Christmas for a fragrance lover.   To make this a surprise gift, just enter the lucky person’s address instead of your own at the checkout.

If you would like to save some extra pennies on your first box, enter the discount code STEPHIEBEAU15 at the checkout to receive 15% off!

What is your favourite fragrance?

Steph, xo

I have tried Burberry touch for women tester first and really liked the fragrance so much that I bought both men and women of this perfume. Before buying any perfume I think tiny scent box could make a huge role.
